Conlangs
Okay, I know I mostly write about Coding and GNU+Linux stuff. But I also like languages.
And one of my favourite topics associated with them are conlangs.
For those who don’t know, a conlang is a constucted Language.
Meaning it’s created by a(n) person/entity.
You will see them created for stories; such as Star Trek’s Klingon.
Or you might see them as just a piece of art (an Artlang).
My personal conlang
Right now, I’m making a conlang called Uomoni (Oo-Oh-Mo-Nee). So far, I have a unique writing system for it, some grammar rules.
But since it’s unique and all I’m unable to show the symbols. I will update this document, along with creating a new document when I’m farther along.
My conlang will be unique in several ways.
Including:
- Preferred SVO, but it is read in OSV when question form.
- No capital/lowercase symbols
- Sino like number system (two ten five -> 25)
- Etc
There’s a lot of interesting things that can arise from a conlang.
And things you can just learn about languages in general.
